Eyestorm Canva Talent Program
Build the next chapter of your design career with Canva.
We're looking for graphic designers who want to expand beyond traditional design work and learn how brands build scalable content systems in Canva. Develop practical experience with Brand Kits, Brand Templates, governance, and implementation — the systems that help companies and enterprise teams create consistent, on-brand content at scale — with the potential to work with Eyestorm on future projects.
Is this you?
You don't need to be a Canva expert. We care more about how you think than what you already know.
You're a graphic designer who wants to grow beyond individual assets — whether you're a student, a recent graduate, an independent creative, or an experienced designer exploring a new direction.
There's no required career stage — we're interested in potential, not age or title.
- Design judgment
- A strong eye for typography, hierarchy, layout, and brand consistency.
- Systems thinking
- An interest in making things other people can reuse, adapt, and scale.
- Communication
- The ability to explain your thinking clearly and work well with others.
- Presentation & training potential
- You're comfortable speaking with others, or willing to develop the confidence to present, explain systems, and eventually deliver online training.
- Curiosity
- A willingness to learn new tools, workflows, and ways of working.
- Reliability
- Professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
Languages matter, too. What language do you call home — and what other language can you work in? Our implementation work may support clients across the U.S., Latin America, and Brazil.
What you get
Develop a new design specialization
Design work is changing. Companies increasingly need designers who can do more than create individual assets — people who can build templates, brand systems, governance, and workflows that help entire teams create content consistently. Canva is becoming an important part of that shift.
This pathway is designed to help graphic designers build practical skills for this kind of work. You'll develop experience in areas such as:
- Brand Kits and brand assets
- Reusable Brand Templates
- Template structure, locking, and editability
- Design systems for non-designers
- Content organization and governance
- Canva production workflows
- Enterprise implementation fundamentals
The goal isn't simply to become better at using Canva. It's to learn how to turn strong design into systems that companies and enterprise teams can use confidently and consistently.
Where it can lead
This is not a job offer. The program is designed to help us identify designers who may be a strong fit for future freelance work with Eyestorm.
Designers who demonstrate strong skills, reliability, and systems thinking may be invited to take on paid independent-contractor assignments as projects become available. That work could include:
- Canva design projects
- Canva template production
- Brand Template adaptation
- Brand Kit setup
- Content migration
- Localization and resizing
- Template QA
- Brand system support
- Implementation support
There's no guaranteed assignment or automatic progression. Opportunities depend on your skills, interests, availability, and the needs of current Eyestorm projects.
How the pathway works
Learn
Build a foundation in Canva, Brand Kits, Brand Templates, and the principles behind scalable design systems. The learning stage is primarily self-directed and does not involve client or production work for Eyestorm.
Train
Complete hands-on exercises using fictional brands and scenarios. We'll look at how you approach design, structure, reusability, consistency, and the needs of the people who'll eventually use what you create.
Work on paid projects
Designers who demonstrate the right skills may be invited to begin with paid Canva design and production projects for Eyestorm. Assignments may include design adaptation, Brand Templates, Brand Kits, localization, resizing, migration, and QA. Each assignment has its own scope, schedule, deliverables, and compensation.
Grow into systems & implementation
This is where design turns into something bigger. We want to develop a team of Canva implementation specialists who can help companies and enterprise organizations successfully adopt Canva. Over time, strong collaborators may develop skills in:
- Canva workspace structure
- Brand systems
- Template architecture
- Governance
- Roles and permissions
- Training and adoption
- Client communication
- Online presentations and facilitation
- Canva implementation
Implementation work is client-facing and includes delivering presentations and live training sessions over Zoom. You should either already feel comfortable presenting and training others, or be willing to develop those skills. The goal is to build a team of people who can eventually represent Eyestorm confidently in Canva implementation engagements.
Why Eyestorm
Eyestorm specializes in helping companies and enterprise organizations build better ways to work in Canva. As a Canva Agency Partner and Implementation Partner, we work across Brand Kits, Brand Templates, governance, training, adoption, and implementation.
That gives us a practical view of what organizations actually need from designers as Canva expands across teams. Our work helps marketing, communications, sales, and other teams create content more efficiently while staying on-brand. This program is how we identify and develop designers who may eventually contribute to that work.
What this is — and what it is not
- This is a talent-development and qualification pathway, not an application for employment.
- Taking part in the learning and training stages does not create an employment relationship.
- You will not do unpaid client work or unpaid production work for Eyestorm.
- Participation does not guarantee future project assignments.
- When Eyestorm engages you for project work, each assignment is paid and agreed separately as an independent-contractor engagement.
What happens next
Tell us about your experience, your current work, and where you'd like your design career to go. We'll review your background and portfolio. If we see a potential fit, we'll contact you for a conversation and explain the learning and training process in more detail.
